Hello! I’m Poppie, the gardener and founder here at P. Gardens. I like to think my passion for gardening speaks for itself—each project is a chance to create something alive, soulful, and uniquely beautiful.
Gardening has always been a part of my life. Some of my earliest memories are of pottering around in the garden with my grandad, planting seeds and learning the magic of watching things grow. Those moments left a lasting impression on me, sparking a lifelong love of gardens and the joy of nurturing life.
For many years, I worked as a self-employed curtain maker, using my creativity to craft beautiful, functional spaces inside people’s homes. Over time, I found myself becoming increasingly drawn to gardening, where I could bring that same sense of artistry and detail to outdoor spaces. A couple of years ago, I began working part-time as a gardener, and it quickly became clear that this was my true calling. In early 2024, I retrained and launched P. Gardens, bringing together my love of creativity and my passion for nature.
One of my greatest fascinations with gardening is solving challenges with natural solutions. I’m committed to working in harmony with nature, offering sustainable and eco-friendly practices that are kind to the planet. Whether it’s improving soil health, encouraging biodiversity, or finding creative ways to overcome obstacles, I believe there’s always a way to let nature lead the way.
For me, gardening is more than just planting and pruning—it’s about creating spaces with soul. Every garden is unique, and I approach each one with care, creativity, and a deep love for what I do. I’d love to help your garden find its magic, too.
